Training
Our Cyber Apprenticeship Program is a specialized set of three pathway programs designed to accompany and guide students from their entrance into the world of IT and cybersecurity to covering advanced topics that are in high demand in today’s industry.
Students learn cybersecurity techniques by receiving lessons modeled after industry certification courses while training in a hands-on IT environment. The apprenticeship program offers workshops in separate tracks for cybersecurity All courses are fully online with support for hands-on learning in lab environments.
Who should apply?
Our program ranges from middle school to high school and beyond. All you need is a passion and interest in IT and cybersecurity as well as the willingness to learn and succeed.

The following three pathways are determined and approved by cybersecurity experts containing the required curriculum to match industry standards:
- Cyber Kids
- Junior Cyber Analyst
- Cyber Analyst
Cyber Kids
Description: The Cyber Kids course is designed to introduce students to the world of information technology and cybersecurity through a series of hands-on and engaging activities designed to teach about topics such as malware, social engineering, threat actors, privacy protection, staying safe online, how to differentiate between legitimate and illegitimate online requests, Linux basics, elementary networking, etc. The course will guide the students who are interested in pursuing cybersecurity and IT as a profession through career and college advice, resume building exercises to get them started, as well as a seamless transition to the Junior Cyber Analyst program.

- Protecting your online privacy
- Staying safe online
- Avoid techniques attackers use such as malicious emails and red flags
- Differentiating between legitimate and illegitimate online requests
- Roleplaying threat actors and their types
- Basics of IT and computing
- Basics of networking
- Introduction to Linux using games such as Terminus MIT
- Malware and their types in fun activity-based games
Junior Cyber Analyst
Description: This course builds on top of the foundational knowledge gained in the previous program, as students prepare a deep-dive into the more complex topics in cybersecurity and IT by preparing to go down the pathway of certifications. Designed to introduce the students to entry-level certifications in IT and cybersecurity, this course guides them through a series of lab-based and theory exercises designed based on the CompTIA IT Fundamentals, A+, Network+, and ultimately opens the doors to the Security+ certification. By the end of the program, students have gained the foundational understanding of cybersecurity and IT and are ready to move on to the Cybersecurity Program.

- Introduction to mobile devices, their parts, and assembly/disassembly instructions
- Intermediate networking concepts/TCP and UDP ports, protocols, and devices
- Building and tearing apart a computer/identification of computer parts
- Basics of virtualization and its importance
- Hardware and network troubleshooting
- Using, comparing and contrasting, and troubleshooting operating systems
- Software and hardware security of devices
Cyber Analyst
Description: Students take the knowledge gained in the previous programs and apply it to the real world by pursuing more advanced certifications and cybersecurity training designed to tackle real-world problems that are currently pursued in the industry. Prepares students to take the Security+ certification and opens the gateway to more complex certifications such as PenTest+ and Ethical Hacking.

- Introduction to penetration testing and its concepts
- Analyzing and identifying impacts associated with different vulnerabilities

- Architecture, design, and frameworks

- Cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
